France IVF access: Protests feared over law change

Conservative and religious groups are expected to protest in Paris on Sunday against the French government's plan to open up access to in vitro fertilization (IVF) to single and homosexual women.

Under French law, only women in a heterosexual couple can access medically-assisted reproductive treatment.

If the new law is passed, it would bring France in line with other European countries.
