Our friends over at USA TODAY Sports are putting together a list of the top-100 players in NFL history to celebrate the league’s 100th anniversary.
Former Vikings quarterback Fran Tarkenton ranked 92nd on the list.
Tarkenton played for the Vikings, Giants, and Vikings again from 1961-78. He made nine Pro Bowls, one All-Pro Team and was the 1975 NFL MVP. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1986.
He helped lead the Vikings to the playoffs five times, including three of their four Super Bowl runs.
