There’s something infinitely alluring about an all-inclusive hotel. Endless food and drink, plus accommodation, all for a lump sum? Yes please, and do pour me a glass of fizz while you’re at it.
The UK has traditionally been light on these offerings – especially high-end ones – but that’s all about to change.
Enter Foxhill Manor, the first all-inclusive, five-star retreat in the UK. The hotel, which is a sister to the luxe Dormy House, is a manor-house hotel set within the 500-acre Farncombe Estate, in the Cotswolds.
With only five bedrooms and three suites, it offers a boutique experience – as well as an all-inclusive one, courtesy of The Full Fox Experience, which has just launched.

And when we say all-inclusive, we mean all-inclusive. Every detail, the hotel says, will be taken care of, which includes access to the drinks cabinet with champagne and cocktails – in fact, there’s a Foxhill Booze Book, which offers unlimited cocktails and twists on classics.
There are also personalised menus, curated by the resident chef, James Sleep, which are cooked with local ingredients. For late-night snackers, there’s a fully-stocked pantry that can be raided at any time for a pick-me-up.
In addition to all the food and drink (which is a reason to visit in itself), there’s also complimentary access to the House Spa at Dormy House, and access to The Den (the hotel’s games and media room), the outdoor hot tub and sauna.

Foxhill itself has been open since 2015, and has been steadily gaining attention since then. Built in 1909, the beautiful building was originally a high-end rental home that welcomed guests like Lady Gaga, Gary Barlow and Coldplay. It was extensively refurbished before opening; today, the design includes touches of Arts and Crafts, as well as sleek Scandi minimalism and (importantly) free-standing bathtubs.
In 2024, it was named the Number 1 hotel in the UK by US Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards; not surprising, given that a stay includes dedicated service from the on-staff ‘host’ as well as a complimentary shuttle to Dormy House (and the nearby town of Broadway).
The hotel itself offers rooms from £920 per night, all-inclusive. Interested? Find out more here.
