All the early lists and prognostications for the 2019-20 college basketball season are beginning to make their rounds now that the 2018-19 season is in the books, and there’s one that stands out among the rest if you’re an Ohio State fan.
Fox Sports released its Way-Too-Early college basketball rankings for next year and Ohio State isn’t just in the top ten, but ranked at a solid and bit surprising No. 4 by Jason Mcintyre.
This is on the tails of ESPN releasing a similar top ten that has the Buckeyes at No. 10.
All the love and recognition is an exciting thing, but nothing has ever been won on paper, and the Buckeyes still must mesh together some seasoned and steady players with three top forty recruits set to hit campus this summer.
It’s not that Ohio State can’t live up to these expectations — and far be it from wanting to not have these types of things to measure up to — but there’s some work to do.
