The Fox News Channel has gone off the air in Mexico in advance of Sunday's presidential election. It's the channel's way of dealing with Mexico's ban on campaign advertising and opinion polls in the days immediately before an election. If the company violated the law it might lose its signal altogether. From today an otherwise blank screen carries a message to viewers in Spanish and English saying that Fox News is temporarily unavailable. It will return after the polls close. (Via latimes.com)
