Fourth person charged over Vic mum murder

A 31-year-old woman will face court on Friday charged murdering Victorian mum Kobie Parfitt. (AAP)

A fourth person has been charged with murdering Victorian mum Kobie Parfitt.

Ms Parfitt, 43, was last seen alive at Ballarat in April last year.

Her remains were found in a mine shaft at nearby Snake Valley in December as part of the investigation into her disappearance.

Police confirmed a 31-year-old Mount Clear woman will face Ballarat Magistrates Court on Friday charged with one count of murder.

She is the fourth person to be charged with Ms Partiff's murder.

A 35-year-old man, who is currently at a correctional facility, was charged last week.

Shannon Jeffrey was charged in Januay while also already in custody.

Brendon Prestage was charged the month prior with her murder.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
