Fourth person charged in WA child sex ring investigation linked to 'swingers'

Police investigating an alleged West Australian child sex ring, including allegations of abuse at so-called "swingers" group sex parties, have charged a fourth person.

The 62-year-old man is facing 11 charges, including two of sexual penetration of a child under the age of 13.

It is alleged the Beckenham man was in the company of a woman and two men, who were charged earlier this year, when the offences took place.

Police say the girl at the centre of the allegations was seven years old at the time of the first offence.

Taskforce Mirzam detectives allege the abuse took place between December 2013 and October 2015.

The taskforce was launched in February after a member of the public discovered a recording device containing videos showing adults, both male and female, engaging in sex acts with a young girl.

The man is due to appear in Perth Magistrate's Court today.
