Fourth man charged with murder after victim fatally stabbed in Hounslow

Detectives investigating a fatal stabbing in Hounslow last October have charged a fourth man.

Mahid Mumin, 24, of Slough is due to appear at Willesden Magistrates' Court on Wednesday charged with the murder of Naython Muir.

Previously, Khalfani Sinclar, 22, of Ashford in Surrey, Phillip Jones, 47, of Feltham and Christian Braimah, 24 of West Drayton were also charged with murder in connection with the stabbing in October last last year.

They are due to appear at the Old Bailey for a trial on 2 September.

A police statement said: “An investigation was launched after police were called at approximately 22:45hrs on Friday, 13 October 2023 to reports of a stabbing in Parkside Road, TW3.

“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended but despite their efforts 43-year-old Naython Muir from Hounslow died at the scene. A post-mortem examination established cause of death as a stab wound.

“His next of kin have been informed and continue to be supported by officers from the Met's Specialist Crime Command.”
