Detectives have charged four youths in connection with a serious assault at a retail park.
The investigation relates to an incident near the entry to Trident Park in Runcorn at about 9.50pm on Saturday, May 14, in which a woman suffered serious injuries.
Cheshire Police said four youths have been charged: a 13-year-old boy with Section 18 wounding with intent and grievous bodily harm; a 13-year-old girl with assault and Section 18 wounding with intent; a 12-year-old girl with two counts of assault; and a 14-year-old boy with assault.

A force spokeswoman said all four are from Runcorn.
They have been bailed to appear at Cheshire Youth Court sitting at Warrington Combined Court on Thursday, September 8.
Police announced the charges on Wednesday morning.
The incident was raised by the area's MP Mike Amesbury in the House of Commons, describing the victim as having been "beaten senseless", and Home Secretary Priti Patel responding to brand it "appalling".
