A four-year-old Bristol girl has drowned in a swimming pool while on holiday in Egypt.
Skia Watson is believed to have slipped and banged her head before falling into a hotel pool.
The tragedy happened at the Seagull Beach Resort in the Red Sea town of Hurghada, where she was staying with family members.
The girl could not be revived despite efforts to save her by a lifeguard.
A spokesperson for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office said: “We are supporting the family of a British child who died while on holiday in Hurghada, Egypt.
"Our condolences are with the family at this difficult time.”
