Four World Cup hidden gems Fabio Paratici can sign for Tottenham and Antonio Conte

With the January transfer window now just under a month away, clubs will be evaluating their squads and considering whether or not it's worth making moves for new players.

As Tottenham are sitting in a healthy fourth position in the Premier League, Fabio Paratici, Antonio Conte and Co. may be keen to dip into the funds the club has available in order to put Spurs in the best possible position for a strong finish to the season.

There's no better place to scout talent than at the World Cup. Players have had the opportunity to impress on the biggest stage and perhaps surprisingly, a few hidden gems have come out of the woodwork. With that in mind, let's take a look at a few of the top performers who will have alerted the biggest clubs across Europe.

Adrien Rabiot (France)

Rabiot probably wouldn't have been starting for France had N'Golo Kante and Paul Pogba been fit to play in the competition. Nevertheless, the Juventus midfielder has shown why he's been in and around top clubs for several years.

Much has been said about him potentially moving to the Premier League when his contract expires next summer. He's currently valued at £15.5million, but perhaps Tottenham could tempt the Old Lady into selling him for a lower price in January, especially considering Paratici and Conte's healthy relationship with the club.

Tyler Adams (USA)

USA captain, Adams, had an impact on every game he played in before his country were eliminated in the last-16 by the Netherlands. He led with maturity and although he hasn't been in the Premier League long, he's showing why he earned a move to Leeds United.

He's valued at £14.7million, though he did only complete a transfer to England in the summer, so that price will be inflated. Conte has typically been linked with a reunion with his international teammate, Weston McKennie, but perhaps a move for Adams would be a better option.

Andries Noppert (Netherlands)

Noppert was thrown in at the deep end by Louis van Gaal as he made his senior international debut in the Netherlands' World Cup opener against Senegal. The 28-year-old has been ever present in the Dutch goal since and looks to have secured his position as his nation's number one.

As Hugo Lloris and Fraser Forster aren't getting any younger, Spurs may need to think about a new goalkeeper for the long-term future. He currently plays for Heerenveen in the Eredivisie and could be available for an absolute steal. The Dutchman is said to be currently valued at just £1.7million, with his deal in the Netherlands top-flight set to expire in 2024.

Sofyan Amrabat (Morocco)

Amrabat was heavily linked with a move to Tottenham last January as Conte looked to strengthen his midfield. A player the head coach and Paratici knew well from their time in Italy, the Moroccan international instead remained with Fiorentina as a transfer away didn't come to fruition with no agreement with Spurs in place.

However, after his impressive World Cup performances, perhaps Tottenham should revisit the situation.
