Week 8 in the NFL didn’t give much by the way of exciting action. It wasn’t quite as bad as the blowout-filled Week 7, but there wasn’t much to write home about.

The Bears got a glimpse at the future with Justin Fields putting on a show in a 33-22 loss to the 49ers. The Chiefs nearly lost to the Giants. The Saints pulled off an upset of the Bucs.

There are a few things to zero in on from the weekend, including two NFC West giants that are poised to make Super Bowl runs with unorthodox roster constructions.
