This is a bittersweet moment as playoff chances are officially beginning to end across the league. On one hand, fans of teams that are eliminated from the playoffs right now know for a fact their season will end in four weeks, just waiting until the fourth quarter is over in Week 18.
On the flip side, this is when the imagination gets to run wild. No one wants to think their team will be crappy the following season and now there’s an entire free agency and NFL Draft to think about potential additions to the sorriest teams in the league.
