Four US service members killed after military plane crashes in Iraq

  • Four US troops were killed after a US military refuelling aircraft crashed in western Iraq.
  • The KC-135 refuelling aircraft went down following an "incident" involving another US plane.
  • The second aircraft involved in the incident landed safely at Ben Gurion Airport in Israel.
  • US Central Command (Centcom) stated the crash was not due to hostile or friendly fire.
  • The circumstances of the incident are currently under investigation, with identities of the service members withheld pending notification of next of kin.
