Four thousand plants are coming to Stokes Croft for a 'pop-up jungle'

Beautiful greenery is a cheap and easy way of making your home look that little bit prettier - and next month people will have the perfect opportunity to pick up a few new plants when a pop-up jungle comes to Bristol.

Online plant store Bergamotte is currently on tour holding 'pop-up jungle' events across the UK - including a showcase at Liberty House in Stokes Croft between March 12-15.

The pop-up will be open between 11am and 7pm on Thursday and Friday, 10am and 6pm on Saturday and 2pm and 6pm on Sunday.

Succulents are some of the most popular houseplants (Hannah Stephenson/PA)

Prices for plants start from as low as £2, with a huge range of houseplants likely to be on offer.

Arriving early on each day is advised if you want to head home with the pick of the bunch, as the event is likely to be popular if interest on social media is anything to go by.

More than 500 people have said they are attending on the Facebook event page while another 5,400 people have said they are 'interested'.

The event description reads: "An urban greenhouse with a selection of more than 4,000 plants: hanging, exotic, graphic or prickly - there’s something for everyone and for every budget.
