Four things we noticed in the Tottenham Hotspur dressing room following Arsenal win

There is no better feeling that getting one over on your closest rivals, right?

Tottenham Hotspur ensured they took the local bragging rights from the first-ever Premier League meeting between themselves and Arsenal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday afternoon, winning 2-1.

Having fallen behind to Alexandre Lacazette's sweet 16th-minute opener, Spurs were left with a mountain to climb if they were to ensure they recorded a much-needed three points.

But when Spurs head coach Jose Mourinho needed his players to deliver, they did. Goals from Heung-Min Son and defender Toby Alderweireld sealed all three points for the home side, easing the pressure mounting on the Portuguese chief's shoulders.

After the full-time whistle, Mourinho, his coaching staff and his players returned to the dressing room, which is usually used for the NFL, to celebrate the win.

A video was shared on social media of the reactions of Mourinho, his coaching staff and his players when they returned to the dressing room and here is four things football.london picked out from that 44-second clip.

Mourinho all smiles and doing fist pumps

At times, Mourinho can be forgiven for looking a little bit unhappy and not show that much emotion when inside he is probably buzzing with excitement. Not this time.

When he returned to the dressing room, the former Chelsea and Manchester United boss could not wipe the smile off of his face, embracing the win with one of his coaching staff before walking over to his point in the dressing room where his bag was housed, punching the air several times in delight.

Mourinho picks up the phone

As soon as Mourinho had returned to his part of the dressing room, he put down his coat and picked up his phone, continuing to don a smile.

Whether it was to get in touch with a family member or friend, read a congratulations message or, perhaps, discover news on a potential incoming transfer, he was smiling all the way.

Unfortunately, though, we'll never know what it said.

Applause all-round

As Spurs' players returned to the dressing room, three members of the coaching staff stood beside the entrance to give their players a round of applause.

First, striker Harry Kane returned to the changing room, got a couple of fist bumps and a pat on the back before Harry Winks returned to a round of applause, which sparked him to clap himself.

Lloris and Lucas delighted

Lucas Moura was spotted with his shirt wrapped around his head smiling and laughing after a quick word with Mourinho, after the latter walked by.

The Brazilian could barely wipe the smile of his face, suggesting he was over the moon at the fact that Spurs had taken the local bragging rights.

Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris then returned to the dressing room and, just like Moura, could not not wipe the smile off of his face.

It clearly meant everything to Mourinho and his players to have got back to winning ways against their closest rivals.
