Four things coming to Liverpool this week that you shouldn't miss

Liverpool is a vibrant and diverse city that boasts lots of exciting things to do.

The city houses some of the best museums in the country and a host of amazing bars and restaurants. Whether you love history or consider yourself a music expert the culturally-diverse city has more than enough to keep you entertained.

With an endless amount of must-see tourist attractions, here are five things happening in Liverpool next week that need to look out for.

Our Place in Space: Liverpool solar system sculpture trail 2022

A unique sculpture trail recreating the solar system is coming to Liverpool this month. Our Place in Space is an 8.1km trail that will be in the city from today until November 6. The trail will begin on Church Street in the city centre and run along the riverside all the way to Otterspool.

Everton vs Newcastle

Everton face a tricky run of games in the coming weeks and are looking to bounce back from a couple of losses. After facing Tottenham on Saturday the Toffies will be heading to St James Park on October 19 looking to pick up three points against in-form Newcastle.

Council announcements amid Eurovision price hike

A number of people have reported being quoted hugely inflated prices from hotels and businesses around the city and region during May next year when Liverpool will host Eurovision on behalf of Ukraine. To combat this Liverpool City Council is expected to announce details about accommodation plans after hotels hiked their prices.

Whether you are a local or looking to come to the city to bask in Eurovision glory it is well worth looking out for.

River of Light returns to Liverpool

The River of Light is an outdoor illuminated gallery on Liverpool Waterfront featuring ten artworks across a 2KM loop, with light and sound from local, national, and international artists. A popular hit every year the gallery runs from October 21 to November 9.
