Four teenagers charged with Dumbarton East assault that left teen hospitalised

Police have charged four teenagers in connection with an assault in Dumbarton East that left three boys injured.

The boys, aged 16, 16, 14 and 14, were charged by detectives in Clydebank following the incident, which happened at 9.30pm last Friday (September 11) on a footpath between Dumbarton East station and Glasgow Road.

Two 16-year-old boys and a 15-year-old boy were injured in the assault, with one rushed to hospital for treatment after suffering a serious head injury. Police say the incident was stopped when a member of the public stepped in.
