Another blue-chip receiver has Ohio State in his list of final schools he’s looking at. After already landing the No. 1 overall pass-catcher in the 2020 class with the commitment of Julian Fleming, to go along with the verbal of four-star verbals from Gee Scott, Jr. and Jaxon Smith-Njigba, there is no shortage of talent coming to Columbus in 2020.
But it may not be done.
According to an announcement from his Twitter feed, four-star wide-receiver Mookie Cooper is also considering the Buckeyes. The release has his final five choices to further his college education. Along with Ohio State, he also has Miami, USC, Illinois, and Texas.
Cooper, at 5-8, 193 lbs., is rated as the No. 26 wide-receiver and No. 63 overall recruit in the 2020 class according to 247Sports.
As news of his recruitment continues, we’ll have updates here on Buckeyes Wire.
