Four-star Texas cornerback Austin Jordan includes Ohio State in his top three

At this point, if you’re a defensive back, you almost have to look at Ohio State right? The program has been dubbed DBU by ESPN, and has self-proclaimed the defensive backs as B.I.A. (Best in America).

It should be no surprise then that a four-star 2022 defensive back out of Texas has included the Buckeyes in his top three. Austin Jordan, out of Ryan High School in Denton, Texas, announced his top three schools through his Twitter account on Wednesday and had OSU included with Oklahoma and Texas.

Denton is ranked as the No. 21 cornerback, and a top 200 overall prospect in the entire class according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. There is no definitive timeline on a decision for Denton, but we’ll stay close to any further news that develops. Right now, he is considered a lean towards Oklahoma, but that pull to go to an Ohio State program that has produced the best defensive back talent in recent years has to be a factor.

Right now, Ohio State is putting together another fantastic recruiting class in 2022, and adding a corner the caliber of Jordan would add to it.
