Four-star shooting guard Moses Moody receives offer from Ohio State

Ohio State might still be working on a 2019 basketball class that is one of the best in the country, but it’s also busy at work trying to piece together the 2020 class that has yet to receive a commitment (don’t worry, it’s still early).

To that end, according to his Twitter account, four-star shooting guard Moses Moody out of Montverde Academy in Florida has received an offer from the Buckeye program.

Of course receiving an offer and actually accepting one is a vastly different animal, but Moody is currently ranked as the No. 36 national recruit for the 2020 class, and the No. 8 ranked shooting guard in the entire country according to 247Sports.

And at 6-5, 180 lbs., he’s got the height and athleticism to get his own shot off against smaller defenders. It’s a shot that smooth and effortless with a ton of range that would look good in scarlet and gray.

Currently, Arkansas appears to be the leader in the clubhouse, and he also has offers from the likes of Auburn, Baylor, Florida, and Florida State. There’s plenty of time to sell the benefits of the Ohio State program so we’ll continue to keep an eye on it.
