Four Star Pizza celebrates record results in Ireland

Pizza chain Four Star is celebrating carving out a large slice of Ireland’s takeaway trade.

The outlet served up its best ever results in Ireland yesterday.

In 2019 it sold 4.75 million pizzas, using almost 63 million pepperoni slices, more than 525 tonnes of cheese and 1050 tonnes of flour in the process.

The stunning performance was fuelled by a spike in hungry customers making online orders.

The wholly Irish-owned pizza chain enjoyed its best year since it was founded in 1986.

It also opened five new stores and employed 90 new members of staff.

“We’re thrilled to announce a record year for Four Star Pizza in Ireland,” said Director Brian Clarke.

“Our online business has really taken off over the past two years, which is reflected by an increase in online sales of 17% during 2019.”
