Ohio State has already hauled in a fantastic recruiting class for 2020. It sits at 20 members strong barring any defections, and is currently ranked as the No. 4 class in the country according to 247Sports.
But there’s still some big fish out there that the Buckeyes have very good odds of landing. Five-star running back Bijan Robinson is set to make his choice on August 2, but before then, fellow Salpointe Catholic teammate and Arizona product Lathan Ransom will announce his decision.
According to his Twitter feed that includes a highlight video, Ransom is all set to announce his college choice on July 16. And … Ohio State is also heavily favored to land his services.
At 6-0, 200 lbs., Ransom is coveted by many of the top programs in the country. He is currently rated as the No. 4 safety and 76th overall recruit in the entire 2020 class according to 247Sports. He is a high four-star that could make an immediate impact with whatever school he chooses.
He also has offers from and is set to choose between his final five of LSU, Texas, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma, along with Ohio State.
If it comes to fruition, OSU could be Arizona East with quarterback Jack Miller, Ransom, and Bijon all backing the U-Haul up from Arizona to Columbus.
So stay tuned. The next few weeks could be very big for some major commitments making their announcements in favor of Ohio State.
