Four-star offensive tackle out of Fort Lauderdale receives offer from Ohio State

The 2019 NFL Draft may have been in the forefront of everyone’s minds over this past weekend, but the Ohio State coaching staff was still busy on the recruiting trail offering prospects a chance to become a Buckeye.

OSU continues to focus on the offensive line with an offer to four-star 2021 offensive tackler Marcus Tate out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This, according to Tate’s Twitter feed Monday morning.

247Sports has the 6-4, 326 pounder as the No. 12 rated tackle in the entire class and No. 77 rated national recruit overall. He currently holds offers from Alabama, LSU, Miami, Auburn and others.

There does not appear to be a timetable set for any decision or a lean either way, though you would have to think Miami has a leg up just from a locale perspective. However, Tate is still early in his decision-making process. We’ll stay on top of it as any further news becomes available.
