Four-star defensive end Rylie Mills takes official visit to Ohio State

There were several offers and visits to Ohio State over the weekend, with one of the biggest coming from 2020 four-star defensive end prospect Rylie Mills out of Lake Forest, Illinois.

The Buckeyes are hoping to make a late push for Mills who seems to be a very heavy lean towards Notre Dame at this point. We’ve seen Ryan Day be able to close the gap in a hurry before, and the coaching staff has hopes that it can do it again here. Having one of the best defensive line coaches in all of college football in Larry Johnson can’t hurt either.

But that remains to be seen with offers from around thirty schools at his disposal.

Mills is listed at 6-5, 275 lbs., and is the ninth rated strong-side defensive end and No. 126 rated recruit overall in the class according to 247Sports. His timetable for a decision is supposed to be sometime in May or June, so we should be hearing something sooner rather than later.
