Four-star 2021 offensive tackle from Texas includes Ohio State in final twelve schools

It’s a little early to get too excited about this, but it’s newsworthy nonetheless if you’re into all the recruiting hype. According to a release on his Twitter feed, four-star offensive tackle Donovan Jackson out of Bellaire, Texas has included Ohio State in his final twelve schools.

At 6-4, 308 lbs., Jackson already has the size to play big-time college football and he’s still got another year in the weight room to go. According to 247Sports, Jackson is rated as the No. 7 offensive tackle and 64th overall recruit in the country.

The other schools in his top twelve besides Ohio State include Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Stanford, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Texas. Because of his location, many give the edge to the Longhorns and Aggies, but it’s clear by his list of schools that academics will play a part as well.

We’ll have more on Jackson’s recruitment as it develops.
