The region has been hit by four stabbings in the last week.
In the last seven days, there has been three knife crime attacks in Merseyside, one of which lead to the death of a man.
The other two incidents involved teenagers who were left in a serious condition.

A further one incident was reported in Runcorn over the seven day period. None of the attacks have been linked by police.
The knife crime spree started on Monday, October 25, when an 18-year-old man was stabbed on Thomas Drive, in Prescot.
Police confirmed that a 16-year-old boy has since been charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article after the stabbing.
Two 15-year-old boys have also been arrested in connection with the stabbing.
The stabbing victim's condition has reportedly improved after treatment in hospital for serious injuries.
Later on in the week, a 31-year-old man was fatally stabbed in Halewood.
Jordan Brophy, from St Helens, died after being stabbed on Friday, October 29, on Beechwood Avenue.
Six people have been arrested in connection with his death.
Police have arrested six men in connection with his murder over the last few days - two of which have now been charged.
Karl Townsend, 31, and Jamie Cunningham, 22, both from Halewood, will both appear in court today charged with his murder and possession of a bladed article.
Just two days later, on Sunday, October 31, a 17-year-old teenager was stabbed multiple times in an 'appalling' attack in Seaforth.
The stabbing happened at around 6.30pm on Halloween, while children were trick-or-treating in the area.
The mum of a 17-year-old victim told the ECHO that she is 'so angry' as she believes he was attacked for his mobile phone.
Merseyside Police was called following reports a young man suffered stab wounds after an attack on Claremont Road, Seaforth, on Sunday, October 31.
The victim's mum said: "He’s currently in theatre because it severed the nerve in his leg. He’s looking at years of recovery time. For a phone. So angry."
Detective Inspector Jay Halpin said: "We are in the early stages of an investigation into an appalling attack which left a young man injured.
"Knife crime has no place whatsoever in our communities and we rely on members of the public coming forward with information about such incidents to keep our streets safer.

"If you were in the Seaforth area yesterday evening and saw anything or anyone suspicious then please come forward.
"Similarly, if you were driving in the area and have dashcam footage then please review it and if you see anything let us know.
"Tell us what you know about this incident and we’ll take positive action to remove those who use weapons to cause fear and harm in our communities from our streets."
While most recently, a week on from the Prescot stabbing, police were called to reports of a man being stabbed on Beech Road in Runcorn.
Cheshire police confirmed a 49-year-old was found with serious stab wounds and was taken to Aintree Hospital for treatment.
A 30-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of affray and section 18 assault.
