Four rushed to hospital after Wexford plane crash as gardai update on injuries

Gardaí have launched an investigation after a small plane crashed at Carnsore Point in County Wexford this evening.

Two men aged in their 20s and 50s and two women in their thirties were on board.

Emergency services rushed to the scene of the accident, and all four passengers have since been taken to hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The scene is currently preserved and the Air Accident Investigation Unit and the Irish Aviation Authority have been notified.

An investigation into the circumstances of the crash is now underway.
