Four rushed to hospital after horror crash involving two motorbikes on Scots road

Four people have been rushed to hospital after a horror crash involving two motorbikes on a Scots road this evening.

Emergency services raced to the scene after the two vehicles collided on the B794 near Haugh of Urr, Kirkcudbrightshire in Dumfries and Galloway.

Police sealed off the area and two men and two women were taken to hospital for treatment.

Officers advised drivers to avoid the area at around 5pm, but the road has now reopened.

The collision sparked travel chaos as the road is currently part of the diversion due to the A75 being closed for roadworks.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said : "Officers attended at the B794 after reports of a crash involving two motorbikes.

"Two men and two women have been taken to hospital and the road has re-opened."
