Four specific destinations in Wales have emerged as the places almost everyone is booking for a winter getaway leading up to Christmas this year, according to new data.
Snaptrip Group, which includes Snaptrip, Big Cottages and Dog Friendly Cottages revealed the top ten places people are booking for end of year holidays.
Coming in the top three are Devon, Cumbria and Cornwall, but the four Welsh hotpots also claim places in the top 10.

These are Gwynedd, Powys and the preserved counties of Dyfed and Clwyd.
The data also showed almost 50% of holidays booked were for at least two people, suggesting these might be considered the most romantic places for couples looking for a break.
Nearly 20% were for parties of four however, so family holidays are very much still on the cards.
Matt Fox, CEO and founder of the Snaptrip Group said: “As we head closer to the winter months and cooler weather it’s interesting to see the locations that are growing in popularity after a busy summer of staycations in the usual trending destinations.
“2021 has been another great year for staycations and with new locations making the top ten list as we head into 2022, it’s exciting to see the places that are being discovered and may be trending in the new year.”
