Four people were stabbed at an M6 services but nobody would help police

Four bikers were stabbed at a motorway service station in a brutal attack - but the case has been closed with no arrests because nobody would help police.

The victims were rushed to hospital by land and air ambulance after the incident on June 8 at Knutsford Services on the M6.

Cheshire Live reports that all four victims have since been discharged from hospital and that the injuries sustained in the attack were not life threatening.

The incident saw the M6 northbound carriageway sealed off while officers responded to the violent scenes at the services.

Cheshire Police put out an appeal in the weeks following the stabbings - but the case had to be closed on July 6, according to a spokesman for the force.

The reason given for the lack of developments was that the victims of the stabbing were reportedly unwilling to engage with officers.

As a result of the lack of co-operation from victims, Cheshire Constabulary were unable to pursue any other lines of enquiry.

Cheshire Live reports that the case was then closed with no arrests made - and the attacker or attackers remain at large.
