Four people have been rushed to hospital after a blaze at a Scots home early this morning.
Emergency services raced to Frederick Crescent in Dunfermline around 3.20am on Wednesday to reports of a fire.
Fire fighters remain on the scene as they work to get the inferno, at a two-storey property, under control.
Four casualties have been rushed to hospital for treatment following the incident.
Their conditions are not yet known.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue service said: "We were called to Frederick Crescent, Dunfermline, at 3.23am.
"There are four pumps in attendance and two hose rail jets.
"There were four casualties taken to hospital.
"We still have two pumps at the scene of the two-storey domestic dwelling."

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 3.30am on Wednesday, 6 April, to a report of a fire at a property in Frederick Crescent, Dunfermline.
“A 31-year-old woman and several children were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
