Four people have been rescued from a flat fire in Chorlton.
There was a large-scale emergency services response after smoke was seen billowing from a second floor window on Beech Road earlier tonight.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service say four people were rescued from the flat, but it's not yet known if they've been injured.
Witnesses reported seeing one man being given oxygen on the pavement outside.

Twenty firefighters were called to the scene at 5.35pm tonight.
One witness said: "There was a guy, probably in his 20s, on the pavement getting oxygen.
"There's four fire engines, ambulances, a police van and three police cars."
The witness said that emergency services could be seen using a set of ladders to climb up to the window of the building, opposite the Co-op store.

"There are loads and loads of vehicles here and the road has been closed off in all three directions,” they added.

On social media one witness told how bar staff from a nearby pub could be seen running towards the scene with fire extinguishers.
