Four people travelling in a car on Dublin's M50 overnight had a lucky escape after a crash on the busy motorway.
Gardai, Dublin Fire Brigade and ambulance personnel rushed to the scene of the incident which happened at Junction 16 at around 1.20am.
The driver and three passengers involved in the single-vehicle crash were treated at the scene.
They were then taken to St Vincent’s University Hospital where they are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Dublin Fire Brigade posted images of the crash on Twitter, writing: "Firefighter/Paramedics from Dun Laoghaire were part of a multi-agency response to an RTC on the @M50Dublin J16 overnight.
"Four people were treated and transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries."

Gardai also attended the scene of the incident.
A garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a traffic collision that occurred on the M50, Co Dublin at approximately 1:20am today, Saturday, 11th December 2021.
"One vehicle was involved in this collision. 4 persons were conveyed to St Vincent’s University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries sustained as a result of this collision.
"This road is currently open for use."
