Four people have been injured and a busy road is closed after a two car crash.
Merseyside Police were called to Lower House Lane at the junction of Utting Avenue East at around 8.20pm on Thursday, January 27.
Once at the scene police found a Ford Fiesta and Renault Clio had crashed at the crossroads outside the The Western Approaches in Croxteth.

Four people were in the cars at the time of the crash and are believed to have minor injuries.
It's believed an ambulance was initially called but cancelled a short time later.
Police have stopped all traffic from using the crossroads and are diverting traffic away from the scene.
The road will continue to be closed while the vehicles are recovered.
