Four people were injured in a serious early morning crash in Dublin on Saturday.
The incident happened in the early hours of this morning on the Longmile Road in the west of the city.
Gardai and emergency services rushed to the scene of the two-car collision.
The driver of one of the vehicles was seriously injured after their car burst into flames.
They have been transferred to St James' Hospital where they are in a serious condition.
Two passengers in this car, as well as the driver of the other vehicle, were also taken to hospital for treatment.
Gardai have closed a section of the road and diversions are in place.

A garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: "Gardaí in Clondalkin attended the scene of a serious Injury RTC on the Longmile Road, Dublin 12 in the early hours of this morning Saturday 30th October, 2021.
"Two vehicle collision, one vehicle went on fire and the driver was removed to St. James Hospital in a serious condition. Second driver also to hospital with injuries. Two passengers in first car, were taken to hospital to be treated.
"A section of this road remains closed at this time, diversions are in place.
"Investigations ongoing."
