Four people in hospital after crash shuts major road for seven hours

FOUR people have been taken to hospital following a crash in Perthshire.

Emergency services attended the scene on the A82 between Crianlarich and Tarbert following reports of a collision involving two cars at around 11.50am on Wednesday.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent three appliances, including one from the Killin Highland Games, to help free a casualty from one of the vehicles.

The road reopened around seven hours later, at 7pm.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "The A82 has re-opened following a two-vehicle crash between Crianlarich and Tarbet reported to police around 11.50am on Wednesday, 5 August.

"Road users are thanked for their patience."
