Four people hit by car outside primary school in early hours of the morning

Four people were hit by a car in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police are appealing for information after a grey Ford Focus collided with one man and three women walking outside Hendreforgan Primary School in Gilfach Goch shortly after 12am on Sunday, September 19.

Three people were taken to hospital but none suffered life-changing or life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses reported seeing a large number of emergency services and the A4093 was closed for a number of hours as teams responded to the incident.

Officers investigating the incident are appealing for witnesses to the incident or those with dashcam footage to come forward.

A spokeswoman from South Wales Police said: "Enquiries are ongoing. Anyone who may have witnessed, or have dashcam footage, of the collision are asked to contact South Wales Police quoting reference 2100330223."
