Four people charged after 'dangerous' North Belfast car pursuit, police say

Four people have been charged after a car pursuit in North Belfast on Monday, police say.

The PSNI said four men aged 30 and 28 years old have been charged with aggravated vehicle in which a vehicle was driven dangerously.

It comes after a silver Toyota Corolla was allegedly stolen from Premier Drive area of North Belfast around 4.50 am on April 13.

The car was reported to have collided with two vehicles before it came to a halt in the Antrim Road area on Monday.

A spokesperson for the PSNI said: "A 25 year old man and a 24 year old woman have been charged with aggravated vehicle in which vehicle is driven dangerously. Both are due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Monday 11 May

"As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

"A 29 year old woman arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle in which vehicle is driven dangerously, possession of a Class A Controlled drug, possession of a Class C Controlled drug and using a motor vehicle without insurance, has been released on police bail pending further enquiries."
