Four Nottinghamshire areas with new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours

There are 13 new coronavirus cases recorded over the last 24 hours across Nottingham and the wider county, according to the latest Public Health England figures.

Cases in the UK have now reached 304,695 a rise of 744 in the last 24 hours, while deaths have now reach 46,201 - a rise of 8 in the last 24 hours.

As of 4pm on Sunday (August 2) there were 1,229 confirmed cases in the city, a rise of six from the previous day.

In Nottinghamshire, there are now 3,082 confirmed cases across the wider county - a rise of seven.

This is the current breakdown of confirmed infections since March for each region of Nottinghamshire:

  • Ashfield 577 (plus one);
  • Bassetlaw 595 (plus two);
  • Broxtowe 436 no change);
  • Gedling 382 (no change);
  • Mansfield 355 (plus one);
  • Newark and Sherwood 342 (plus three);
  • Rushcliffe 395 (no change).

Elsewhere across the East Midlands, there have been 1,327 confirmed cases in Derby and 3,441 across Derbyshire.

Meanwhile, there have been 4,986 confirmed infections in Leicester and 3,324 across Leicestershire.
