Hold onto your hats Harry Potter fans - there are four new stories on their way!
JK Rowling will be treating us to brand new tales from the Harry Potter universe, which will be released as eBooks next month.
The new stories will be published on Pottermore, Rowling's online world for everything Harry Potter, reports the Mirror.
The "bitesize" tales are themed on different Hogwarts lessons: Charms, Potions, Herbology, Divination, Astonomy, Defence Against the Dark Arts, and Care of Magical Creatures.
They promise to "take you back in time once again to learn about the traditional folklore and magic at the heart of the Harry Potter stories".
London-based artist Rohan Daniel Eason has illustrated the eBooks which are going to be released on June 27.
They will follow a similar format to J.K. Rowling's previous 'extra content' stories Harry Potter – A History of Magic.
The Pottermore website states: "Prepare to delve deeper into the rich history of magic (be it our own Muggle history, or the magical world created by JK Rowling) with this new series of eBook shorts, inspired by the British Library exhibition and its companion books, Harry Potter: A History of Magic."
The stories are:
- Harry Potter: A Journey Through Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts
- Harry Potter: A Journey Through Potions and Herbology
- Harry Potter: A Journey Through Divination and Astronomy
- Harry Potter: A Journey Through Care of Magical Creatures
The first Harry Potter book was released in 1997 and became a massive hit around the world, unleashing a seven-book series and eight blockbuster films.
The books followed all seven years of the main characters' time at Hogwarts, starting when they are 11,
The story follows young wizard Harry, whose parents were killed by the evil Voldemort, as he discovers his magical powers and starts Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
