Four neighbours celebrate after winning £1,000 each

Four neighbours are celebrating winning £1,000 each, just because of where they live.

Four households on Brookdale Road in Wavertree netted the lucky windfall when L15 3JE was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Saturday 14th November 2020.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt sent her well-wishes to the winners.

She said: "Congratulations to our winners in Liverpool, I’m sure they’ll enjoy spending the cash and treat themselves to something special."

Last month one Liverpool resident had the surprise of their life when they scooped a cash prize of £60,000 thanks to their postcode.

The winner, from Mossley Hill, landed the windfall when their postcode L18 8AD, which is located on Rose Lane, was drawn by the People’s Postcode Lottery on Thursday, October 29.

This prize was part of People’s Postcode Lottery’s special October campaign, where one postcode will win £30,000 per ticket every single day.

The winner chose to remain anonymous but will still receive their prize money.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador, Matt Johnson, congratulated the player on the win.

He said: “A big congratulations to our winner in Mossley Hill! I hope the win will help lift their spirits and they treat themselves to something special with the cash.”

A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

This draw was promoted by Postcode Community Trust which is funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

It provides short-term, designated funding to good causes that promote community development and demonstrate positive change through access, engagement and skill development.

Many good causes close to the winners have also benefitted from players’ support, and local charities can apply for funding next year.
