BHOPAL: Four new cases of Covid-19 infection were diagnosed across Madhya Pradesh on Thursday. Active cases in the state are at 114 with no death reported in the state health bulletin on Thursday.
All four new cases were reported from Bhopal. Even before the four new cases were diagnosed the positivity rate for weekly average in the state capital has risen to 0.14%. According to health department bulletin state positivity rate is at 0.006%. It is based on 61,134 samples of suspected Covid-19 patients examined during the day. The total number of tests in MP went up to 1,89,47,904 on Thursday. The tally of coronavirus positive cases in Madhya Pradesh rose to 7,92,600 on Thursday with the addition of four cases. The death toll remained unchanged at 10,522.
The recovery count stands at 7,81,964, leaving the state with 114 active cases. 11 people were deemed recovered from the infection in MP.
