Four more Manchester United players could leave on loan

Manchester United Under-23 players Di'Shon Bernard and Max Taylor are expected to leave the club on loan before the transfer deadline.

MEN Sport understands the pair are in discussions with clubs over season-long loans, with United keen to get many of last season's Under-23 regulars out into senior football this term.

Dylan Levitt, James Garner, Tahith Chong, Matej Kovar and Aliou Traore are all with loan clubs and centre-backs Bernard and Taylor are likely to follow them.

It is understood that Taylor, 20, has been in discussions with National League North side Kidderminster Harriers. The defender made his return to United action last season having fought off cancer and is now looking to make his way in the game.

Bernard has played once for United's first team in last season's Europa League group stage game against Astana in Kazakhstan. The 19-year-old is understood to be attracting League One and League Two interest.

United could also loan out Ethan Laird and Arnau Puigmal, though the pair have both had minor injury issues of late and are more likely to remain at Old Trafford. Neither have featured in the Under-23s or Under-21s last fixtures, against Liverpool U23s and Rochdale respectively due to knocks.

Right-back Laird has been training regularly with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first team recently after making his first team debut last season. And versatile midfielder Puigmal could consider a temporary move away if a loan offer arrives from his native Spain.
