Four men were punched, kicked and stamped on in a 'vicious attack' in a pub car park in Salford .
Police were called to the incident at The Matchstick Man pub off Capital Quay at around 11.20pm on Thursday, December 12.
Officers found the victims had been punched, kicked and stamped on by three men.
The victims - aged in their late 20s to mid 40s - were taken to hospital from the scene.
One of them has been left with potentially life-changing injuries.
An investigation is now underway and police are appealing for information about the assault.
No arrests have yet been made.
The attackers are believed to be between the ages of 30 and 60.
GMP believe that the incident may have been filmed.
Detective Constable Adam Agrebi, of GMP’s Salford division, said: “This was a vicious attack that could have easily had more severe consequences if it wasn’t for the intervention of customers at the pub and the quick response of paramedics who provided treatment to the victims.
“We believe there were a large number of people in the area at the time who may be able to help us with our investigation by sharing crucial information or videos filmed on their phones.”
