A man suffered from a broken jaw after being attacked in Bootle.
The victim had been on Wadham Road, at around 9.35pm on Saturday, September 24, when he was punched by another man. Police said the victim, in his 50s, needed hospital treatment after the assault.
Detectives have carried out an investigation but are yet to find a suspect. They have now released CCTV images of four men they believe may have information or witnessed the attack.

Merseyside police said those pictured may be able to assist with their enquiries. Detective inspector Matt Kerr has reassured that the people in the CCTV are not in trouble but might have witnessed something important.

Detective Inspector Matt Kerr said: "We think the men pictured may have vital information that could help an ongoing police investigation. Although the men pictured are not clearly identifiable in these photos I would like to appeal directly to them and anyone who was on Wadham Road on Saturday night 24th September and may have seen what happened to come forward.
"I would also like to reassure these men that they are not in trouble and any information they give from that night could really support our enquiries If you recognise these men and have any information, please let us know as we continue to investigate.
