A man was left seriously hurt after a BMW overturned on the M60 when one of its tyres burst.
Police have arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving following the incident on New Year's Eve.
The BMW overturned and landed on the hard shoulder anti-clockwise, near junction 23 at Ashton-under-Lyne, at about 9.35pm.

A man in his 20s was rushed to hospital after suffering serious injuries to his head and leg.
Three other men sustained minor injuries and received treatment.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
A GMP spokesperson said: "We are appealing for information following a serious collision on the M60 near Tameside.
"At around 9.35pm on Friday 31 December 2021, we received a report of a collision on the M60 near junction 23 for Ashton-under-Lyne.
"Officers attended and established that a BMW was travelling anti-clockwise when one of the rear tyres burst causing the car to overturn before landing on the hard shoulder.
"A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with serious head and leg injuries. Three other men were treated for minor injuries.
"An investigation is underway. Anyone with information, particularly dash-cam footage, is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
"A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He remains in police custody for questioning.
