Four men arrested in connection with retail park shooting in Drogheda, Co Louth

Four men have been arrested in connection with a shooting at the M1 retail park in Drogheda earlier this year.

The botched hit at the Co Louth shopping centre was part of an escalating feud in the town.

The victim, a relative of a man paralysed after another failed hit, was struck in the arm and neck outside a retail park toy shop at 3.15pm on February 26.

He later underwent life-saving surgery.

It has also emerged the car used in the hit, part of a bitter row between two crime families, was stolen in North Co Dublin on February 12.
