Four men arrested in connection with attempted murder of Patsy Hutch

Four men have been arrested in connection with the attempted murder of Patsy Hutch last year.

The men were detained after an operation by gardai who are investigating the botched hit in Dublin city centre on March 10, 2018.

The arrests were made in Dublin and Louth, and the four men who are in their 20s and 30s will appear before the Special Criminal Court today, Dublin Live reports.

A garda spokesman said: "Personnel attached to the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) have, this morning, the 5th of December 2019, carried out an operation arising from their investigation into the attempted murder of a person, in Dublin, on the 10th of March, 2018.

"Arrests were undertaken in Dublin and Louth, resulting in the detention of four men aged in their 20s and 30s, who, later this morning, will be brought before the Special Criminal Court, Dublin.
