These four young men are hoping to break the Guinness World Record for the longest marathon group hug.
The Mayo men had previously held the title in 2017 after they broke the 25 hour record while raising €4,500 for the Irish Cancer Society.
But three students in Japan broke record by 15 minutes just a few months ago.
Now Stephen Rattigan, Brian Cawley, Nicky Kearney and Robert Tuomey hope to take back the title back by doing a 30 hour hug under a marquee in Market Square, Castlebar, Co Mayo on May 4.
They hope to raise €6,000 for Pieta House and Western Car over the next few weeks.
Mr Rattigan said: “That weekend in Castlebar is Mayo Day which is promoting Mayo and different events around Mayo.
“We’re doing this for longer this time.
Over 5,000 cancer victims to be remembered in Ireland's Got Talent semi-finals
“Your muscles tend to seize up and what not but we’re looking forward to raising money.
“We’re hoping to exceed the [goal of] €6,000.”
